Focus mk2 2005 1.6 Tdci power steering fault

Hello

I have a 05 Focus 1.6 diesel caravan. The display constantly says "steering assist fault" + a little yellow lamp on left. The power steering works.

I read the codes it reads b1342 steering booster control unit malfunction and c1956 steering angle sensor malfunction. Codes deleted, come right away back. Tested wiring from pump to angle sensor - ok. Tested power output from pump to angle sensor - no power.

Am i right to assume that this is a pump fault?

    I have same problem but. Mine does not work. 2007 Focus. Å friend will read codes for me tomorrow.
