My sync has just updated and after restarting it refuses to connect to my phone showing the eternal loop. Now what?

    Already tried different cable. Restarting the phone. Turning off the car and returning after a while. Didn't help.

    Alright, found the solution today after lots of googling around.

    I had to clear the Android Auto cache and data  from the phone's side.
