Been hearing a worrying rattle coming from under the hood of my 2010 Focus when driving. Stopped driving for a few days and went to start it up again to find that it will now not start. Just clicks when I attempt to start the engine. 

OBDII Scanner reveals following codes 

  • P2002 DPF Efficiency Below Threshold 
  • P2463 and P042F Manufacturer Control

For background, I have recently been told by mechanic that the dpf is likely to cause problems in near future. 

Any idea as to what this might be? All help appreciated.

    Starter clicking usually means the battery is flat.  Try a jump start if possible.
