Spare parts: Boot floor panel/mat for Focus MK2

Featured Replies

Hi fellow Ford enthusiasts! đź‘‹

I'm hoping someone in our amazing Focus community can help me out. I'm looking for a boot floor panel/mat for my 2010 Focus MK2 Titanium. The MK2 is such a fantastic car, and I'd love to keep mine in top condition.

I am attaching a picture so you can see what it looks like. I am not too fussed if it's the original or not, just want a new/used one in good condition (worn is fine, as long as it is dry and not mouldy). I had some problems with damp/mould going in the boot, which I believe I have now fixed. However, my mat is full of mould/very old and I would like to replace it with a new one as cleaning it would be too involved.

I'm open to either:

  • Buying directly from someone who might have a spare
  • Getting recommendations for reliable marketplaces where I can find one -> Maybe there is even one in the https://www.fordownersclub.com/ I am not aware of?

If anyone has this part lying around or knows where I could source one, I'd be really grateful!

Thanks in advance for any help! Looking forward to your responses.

Best wishes

You should easily be able to find one on ebay or at a breakers yard.

When the weather warms up, remove from car and scrub it with a weak bleach solution and stiff brush.

Wash off with a hose and leave to dry in direct sun for a few hours. This will clean it out and hopefully kill the mould.
