My focus (2018) mk 3 keeps giving the "bonnet open" warning.
I have diagnosed the fault to the microswitch on the bonnet latch:
microswitch button depressed  (bonnet shut) = open circuit
microswitch button up (bonnet open) = open circuit
short circuiting the connector to the latch prevents the bonnet open warning
The latch works fine mechanically.
So it is an easy fix to remove and replace the microswitch assembly on the metal latch assembly.
It is just held in place by plastic lugs and latch.
Except...
I cannot find anyone selling the microswitch assembly (circled in red on attached image) separate from the latch assembly

Can anyone tell me the part number of the microswitch assembly so I can go shopping.

There won't be a Ford part number for the switch as the latch assembly is bought in ready built from another supplier.

If you remove your own latch, hopefully there will be a manufacturers part number on the switch itself.

The microswitch is glued in so I cannot see its part number.

Do you know who the supplier to ford  of the latch assembly is?
I found several suppliers of replacement latch assemblies
Bugaid, Essen SKV,
if I can get an exact replacement cheaper than ford spares I'll count that as a win.

Ah that's a shame.  I don't know the supplier unfortunately.
