Good evening to you all

I drive a 2015 Fiesta (EU) with a 1.5TDCi and the factory LCD screen of the sound system got busted.

Slowly since the beginning of autumn it was losing its color and becoming dimmer and now it just shows blank white screen.
I was told the shop that its time had come and that it's probably because of the humidity.
Have any of you had a similar thing happen to you? A screen starting to fade until the picture turns completely white?
Is it definitely gone or could it be a fuse/cable issue?

The truth is that I have a lot of moisture in the car and I don't know why.
Inside the cabin I have never found any water but the windows easily pick up moisture all winter long.

The place where the spare tire is under the trunk is moist but the floor has never held any water.
I'm not sure I can handle the cost of plugging holes until the shop people figure out where the moisture is coming from.

Is it a common problem? How did you guys solve it and how much did it cost you? I'm thinking about replacing the screen but if the moisture ruined this one, the new one will also be ruined and it will be a waste of money.

Any opinions welcome!
