    Was the engine hot when tested?  If not, thrash it over to the MOT centre and have it tested again while it's still hot.

    If it was hot then the cat is worn out and will need replacing.  You can try a can of Cataclean just to get it through MOT.

    Couldn't you find a closer centre? :unsure:

    Don't bother with Redex, needs to be a decent cleaner like Cataclean or Wynns Cat cleaner.

    Drove up from my mums, back home. Then after half hour at home went for the MOT. Only just down the road from me. I'll get some fluid as you have suggested. Seeing a mechanic at 10am tomorrow. Thanks for your help once again...
