So for quite a while my car has felt like its been underperforming under boost and feels flat. It also sounds more throaty. I have forscan and i dont really have any idea what any of it means but my map at idle is 30kpa and when i look online it says this is low. When i turn the car off it says 100kpa. Is this normal or not and what could the issue be? mk3 focus 2012. 182hp

    Those MAP readings are perfect for a petrol engine.

    100kPa = 1 bar.  That is ambient air pressure at sea level.

    30kPa at idle is because the throttle plate is mostly closed and there's no turbo boost at all.

    If you want to measure boost you need to load up the engine at high rpm uphill.
