Having a lot of problems with both my original key fobs getting into car. all statrted when dash gave me a message that battery was low which turned out to be incorrect. one key will only sometimes work from a distance and the other will only work if you get up close by the wing mirror. its very inconsistant as both sometimes wont work at all. its getting really frustrating. i wondered if it would be the RF receiver inside the car. can any offer any advise

    What batteries are you using? Genuine panasonic, Energizer, Duracell etc work best. Cheap/fake batteries can cause problems.

    Best to actually test the voltage. Needs to be 3.3v for new, 2.99v and less will cause issues... Don't rely just because they're 'new'.

    Use a meter like Stephen has said and test them.

    Sadly, no guarantee. Amazon have 100s of different suppliers. The best hope of genuine is to buy from a supermarket whose supply chain is quite robust, though admittedly at a premium price...
