Key Help

Featured Replies

Morning sorry for the early message but if an emergency the picture attached on the left is my main key I assume is a aftermarket one which works all perfect. But the the key on my left on lets me do limited stuff and max out at 80mph it flashes up safe key. I need to turn that one into my main key so it works like my left key so it’s a proper key can you help?? Seems there’s loads of keys attached to my car and needs syncing etc.

Unfortunately you need the admin key in order to delete the 'MyKey' status from the others.  If that was the one that's been replaced by the aftermarket key then you can't clear it through the dash any more.

I would recommend you seek the services of a local independent locksmith who should be able to properly sort things out for you. (don't go to 'Ford', or Timpsons)

I sorted it with the main key inside the car. Just went in to my settings then my key and unchecked speed limit and volume limit.
