Another SYNC question

Featured Replies

Nearly 2 weeks after fitting an XTRONS IXP92FSF Android12 face lift to my Ford Focus 2012 MK3 1.s TCDI and I'm about as depressed as a sick parrot. I have not been able to get this thing to work correctly, Rear Cam, Navigation and Maps are fine. The rest, forget it. I think It's rapidly heading for the bin.

All I wanted was a decent size screen and a rear view reversing camera. I don't wat something that hangs on the rear view mirror or sits in your way on the dash. I wanted something integrated looking like it was a part of the system, i.e. Integrated.

So my question is , If I purchase a Ford MK3 haed unit with full sync3 facillities canI replace the BTC system that I already have.

Would there be much wiring changes to be made, preferebly one could purchase an adaptor harness.

Thanks for looking and helping to prevent me commiting suicide.

Regards

George
