2018 Sync 3 - corrupt xml file on update

Morning all!

TWICE I have formatted my USB stick, extracted the content of Map_49471_Update.zip to the USB, watched the car install the update and tell me to eject it. Twice I have inspected the resulting XML file and found the top part to be binary content instead of XML - which renders it invalid.

What's next? I'm on Sync 3.4.23188 it this helps.

    If the Map has completed successfully, you don't have to go through the whole thing again, just use the interrogater log tool from the troublshooting section. All that does is generate an XML, takes about 30s.
