B1492 - Error

Featured Replies

Hi,

Probably a stupid question but I'm not mechanical.

Used ForScan and have an B1492 error and I'm aware of an accident the car was in.

My question with the error on the car would it affect the performance of the car.

It's making a noise when accelerating so didn't know if it was fuel starvation?

Thanks in advance

Are you using FORScan (licensed version) and a vLinker FS cable to reset the B1492 code ?

  • Author

Yes ForScan (2 months free) and using a Multibao ForScan OBD2 Adapter. I've not tried to reset it just wanting to know if that maybe noise when accelerating only when car is moving (no noise when idle)
