Voice Control Question

Featured Replies

Just got a MK7 Zetec S been trying out the voice control,I am not sure if it has gone wrong already. It only seems to work after you have turned on the audio, I thought that when I first tried it, it came on when you pressed the VC control button and it asked you what sevice you required, can anyone please help?

Correct, the radio must be switched on for voice controls to work.

In my 2009 Titanium the voice control has only worked when the radio is on the VC is in the same module as the bluetooth I think which is then connected to the radio.

Thanks for the replies, I only got the car on Sunday so still getting use to it.

I thought there might be a electrical problem, when you start up and put the lights on only the menu button is illuminated in the audio controls, the rest light up when you turn the radio on. Is that how it should be?, there again I thought that the whole audio dash lit up when the lights were switched on.

Same as mine. The only button that works with the stereo turned off is the menu button, so I guess it makes sense to only illuminate that one
