Hi everyone, I would like to raise the battery charge level to 90/95% with forscan

What does all this mean?

Will the battery be recharged by the alternator up to 90/95%?

Is it necessary to also reset the BMS immediately?

    Your cars charging system is set by Ford at the factory to only ever charge the battery to a maximum of 80% which for most people is simply not enough.

    No, that privilege is reserved for owners of pure EV's 🤣

    My own SOC is set at 98% and the car is still in one piece when I last checked.

    For those of us who are new to the peculiarities of owning a Ford, and the requirement for low mileage users to regularly trickle (mains power) charge their battery, just how easy is it to do this SOC revision in practice? Would it invalidate a Ford service warranty?
    Is there an idiots guide to Forscan and adjusting SOC? Confession: I don’t have (or desire) a windows laptop. 
    Presumably when trickle charging via a mains charger (and while bypassing the BMS) the SOC limitation is ignored.
