Ford custom 2020 1.0 PHEV Non start non drive

Featured Replies

No Start, No Communication with Battery Energy System and no communication with HVAC control module!

Hi

IFord Custom 1.0L EcoBoost PHEV, and its not running. So far, Ive checked:

All fuses and relays  all seem fine.

Hybrid plugs and all connectors  checked from the firewall and the common fault area in the loading bay, but found no issues or corrosion.

Tried a software update on the Battery Energy System, but it couldnt communicate.

At this point, Im stuck. The only thing left might be removing the big battery, but Iâm not sure if thats the right move. Also, I dont know the exact location of the Battery Energy System module.

Has anyone dealt with this before, or does expert  knows where the module is located? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Did the fuse blow before the gearbox work was done (no details of vehicle, need more details, assume petrol)?

What size was existing fuse to delete other rows in your fuse table?

Auto or manual?

Are you seeing any other faults?

You have disconnected some components but obviously not the one that is causing the fuse to blow?
Are there any fault codes?

Thanks for replying! Im new to this forum, so I apologize if I missed any important details.

Before changing the gearbox, the car was running fine. The fuse is 10A, and the car is a 1.6L petrol automatic. Im getting the following fault codes: P0101, P0458, P0245, P2090, and P2088. The codes can be cleared, but they return as soon as I start the engine, and the steering becomes heavy.

I suspected the alternator, but I measured 15.5V with a multimeter. The codes indicate a short to ground, so I cleaned all the ground connections, brushed them, and also disconnected the camshaft sensors. However, I couldnt find any plug for a turbo.
