Ford Focus mk2.5 dipped beams not going off

Featured Replies

Hi

Can anyone help: 2010 Focus has developed an issue with the dipped beams not going off, even when the engine is turned off

I've changed the headlight switch in the cabin but problem persists

Thanks in advance

Could be the low beam relay stuck on. Just notsure if this is located in the engine bay fuse box and therefore changeable or built into the passenger junction box behind the glovebox and possibly not able to be changed

Checking again the wiring diagram doesn’t show numbers for the headlamp relays and seems to indicate they’re within the PJB.

Another option is checking the wiring plugs to the PJB as these can be prone to water leaking in through the bulkhead grommet
