Front dash cam keeps falling down. Mk1 Focus.

Featured Replies

I had a dash cam wired in back and front.  Front cam fitted behind rear facing mirror, towards passenger side.  It will not stay on the windscreen, falls off after about an hour.  Fitted by the garage.  They can't think of an alternative way of fitting it so that it stays.  Out of frustration, I suggested Supper Glue.  Well, I'm getting very frustrated.  All suggestions gratefully received, thank you.

A very simple job done very poorly by whoever 🙁

You need to thoroughly clean the windscreen with IPA or Methylated Sprit, do NOT use other cleaners.

Use only double sided sticky foam pads made by 3M

Fix camera to the windscreen. The floor will fall out long before the camera falls off 🤣
