Just doing the windscreen wash, and spotted this "hole" under the engine bay.

Should it be there or has something fallen off? Call me paranoid!!

Hello Paranoid, sounds like you are needing something to worry about. If you have a 1.0 EcoBoost have a search here on the forum for wet belt failure. It should help take your mind off the hole 🤣

That's a normal hole.  But the plastic guide often falls off, so you could double check that, I can't tell either way from those pictures.

It feeds air to the clutch and gearbox area for cooling afaik.

sorry yes, it was a crap photo,

the rest of the plastic is there, it's that hole there on tomsfocus photo.

Just seemed odd, like a cover or a hatch was missing, so thanks,

And yes, I'm prepping myself for a wet belt service, just need to get it booked in once another pay day has been and gone.

some one stole one of your cylinders... I'd ask ford, maybe it was taken at a service
