Fusion Immobiliser problem.

Hi,

I've currently got a 2008 Fusion 1.6TDi which stopped due to a faulty alternator and flat battery ands now won't start? I turn the key the immobiliser light goes out and the car won't start or turn over just nothing. The alternator has been changed and the battery is fully charged and holding?

    As the thick battery cables have been messed with for that work, I would check whether the small one has broken off for the starter motor.

    If the cable is good, use a multimeter to check whether battery voltage is reaching the starter with the key at start position.

    If no voltage is reaching the starter then check the ignition fuse & relay if fitted.  (Unsure if there is a fuse on this model)
