New Owner - Key Question

Featured Replies

Hello all, As posted in the introdution section, Ive just bought a V reg fiesta. However I only got one red key with it and it is extremely bent. To the point where i am worried it wont last long. I have read on the net that you need two master keys to get a new key coded. I only have one in poor condition. Am i stuffed or is there somewhere i can go to get another key cut and coded, Many thanks for any advise. Paul

is it a full red key or does it just have a red chip in it, if its full red then so long as it is actually programmed as a master key then you can code other keys from that ONE key, if it just has a red chip then you will need to get it programmed by ford or somewhere else

Take your key to a locksmith. He can clone it so the car will think both the keys are the same key.

If you cant find anyone local to you, you can send it to me recorded delivery .We charge £50 for one of these.
