Just had my first service but after pulling out the dipstick I think the oil looks very black?

Just wondering where the oil filter is on the 1.4 TDCI diesel so I can see if it looks like it’s been changed.

Anyone know or got a diagram?

    It's perfectly normal that oil turns black soon after being changed in a diesel.

    the oil in diesel engines usually goes black/dirty looking very quickly, i wouldnt worry about it.

    yes, diesel engines are very mucky even after an oil change.

    I thought the same thing when i got my car back, they had only driven 3 miles, I'm thinking about getting the oild changed at 6 months as well.
