2024 focus st low battery state

Featured Replies

Hi, can anyone suggest cause of low battery state in new focus with under 4000 miles. Fully charged battery on 3rd Feb but got same warning message on 15th Feb. Local dealership says I should run the car more but don’t think that’s the issue. Thanks

The dealer is 100% correct. Either use the car daily or charge the battery every few weeks. Welcome to modern motoring. Perhaps you should have kept your 2020 model ?

PS. You need to update your profile.

I keep mine connected to a battery tender: Optimate 6, whenever it is on my drive as I only drive it once a week. Battery still going well after 5+ years.
