Hey thanks for the reply x I  only have one key any suggestions what I can do x

Turn ignition on and leave on, but do not start

Drop driver's window

Open bonnet

Close all doors

Disconnect battery negative terminal and leave off for about 10 minutes

Reconnect battery

Try and start again

If it doesn't work then something has gone down

Did you try and jump start before charging/changing battery?

If you're a member of a breakdown service (check your insurance in case it's included without you knowing) , give them a call and see if they can get you started...

New battery dying?  If bought locally take it back and get it swapped.  The engine won't start with a dead battery.

No, sorry.  It no longer sounds like an immobiliser fault anyway.

Check the thick battery cables if the car isn't getting power with a new battery.

The big red one that goes to the alternator and the starter.  And the black ones that go to the chassis and the gearbox.

If you need the car quickly I would suggest looking for a local mobile mechanic to help.

You can lock and unlock car with key when you put the key in you get few lights that come on but literally no crank what so ever red light flashing on cluster

Call an auto locksmith to check your key and program in a new one if necessary.

Though if the battery keeps dying without even cranking then there's more than one fault here.

The red light should flash a 2 digit PATS fault code after the rapid flashing stops.
If it was only a visual check of fuses, I would suggest you try replacing fuse 27 in the engine compartment fusebox.

With respect to all contributors to this thread, we're all just playing 'armchair mechanic'. As already suggested, I feel on this case you need to take it to someone to get a proper diagnosis as there are too many causes for you to try 'everything'...

Hi il give that a check today if the engine is gone can that also be why it's not cranking and giving off the red light maybe x
