2012 Focus coolant issue which has caused a head gasket fail

Hi all, i have a 64 plate focus and my head gasket has gone after i filled up the coolant, i had heard that ford would fix this for free, due too having no sensor being in the engine. Is this true.

If not i may have to sell the car as i cannot afford to have the head gasket fixed.

    No.  That was for the 1.6 EcoBoost engine anyway.
