I've just been quoted £304 for a first service (basically just an oil change), which seems quite excessive to me, what are your thoughts?

    I wouldnt use main stealer, just make sure you get an independent garage to do it using OEM or equivilant filter and ford recommended oil. Keep receipts to prove.

    I agree, should be nearer £200.

    Sounds like they might have ticked the wrong box on the system.
