Hi all

Me again ...

Spring is soon upon us and I need to change the cam belt and water pump. I also need to change the Alternator. Just wandering what amp load is the OEM already fitted one and can I fit a new 120 - 150 or higher amp alternative alternator. Im not looking for the dearest or the very cheapest one a. good all round quality one any help please.

    The original on this car was probably only 105A.  There should be a sticker on it to confirm.

    I don't know.  150A isn't shown as an option for this engine.  Only 105 or 120.  The larger alternator may not physically fit.  And ideally you should change the alternator size on Forscan as well if doing that.
