Stereo Fascia Trim Not Sitting Flush - Focus Mk2.5

Featured Replies

Has anybody had trouble clipping it back into place? I can’t seem to get it back to being flush with the switches, see photo attached

Looks like the switches are out of place, not the panel

You reckon? It all fit fine before, all I’ve done is slide the stereo out to plug the antenna in, can’t think how that process displaced the switches.

Oh yeah, I can see better from that angle.

Panel is not engaged properly, check all the clips and that the locators aren't bent

Just check everything is in the right place, behind, before you try to reinstall the panel

Sure, have done that a few times and no luck, pretty stumped… will take some pics when I next take it off to fit charging ports and Bluetooth module.

Make sure all cables behind are tucked away and not blocking the HU from tightened down properly.

You didn't knock the side pieces out of alignment when the HU came out did you? (The clip-in brackets the radio bolts on to).

Check the fascia clips are not bent and engage properly then give the fascia a good push and it should sit correctly.
