Mk 2 Focus TDCI Power Steering issue

Featured Replies

Hi All any one knowledge of a power steering malfunction coming up on dash when turning over then clears when starting thinking is it the start of something did booth bottom wishbones recently and tracking done cheers

If your car is fitted with Electric-hydraulic power steering, then first check the condition of the car battery. A poor state of charge can cause PS problems.

Hydraulic.  But you need to check which one is already in your system.  Early Mk2s had red fluid.  At some point during production they changed to green fluid with a different spec.
