Recommendations for aftermarket parts

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has recommendations for some aftermarket parts that benefit a xr5. Mainly for the common issus. more specifically PCV failure and Boost Pressure issues at certain RPMs.

    PCV failure is usually related to the diaphragm in the crankcase breather/oil filter unit failing. Symptom is high pitched noise and pressure in crankcase when you try to pull the dipstick out. Doesn’t usually cause boost issues as far as I know. The diaphragm is available to be replaced now apparently but not sure of best supplier. Sometimes awful to check Volvo forums as parts can be cheaper than going through Ford dealers.

    Other poss causes I can think of are the diaphragm failing in the sound symposer if still fitted, or possibly the boost solenoid
