Hi all first post here. I have a 2015 st250 3.5 my aircon has stopped working and looking for a bit of advice heres what i have already done

A/C button lights up when pressed ✔️

Checked both fuses in at glove box ✔️

Checked fuse in engine bay ✔️

Swapped relay with horn and horn works makes no diffrence to A/C ✔️

Power at high current side of relay ✔️

Bridged switched side of relay out and compressor kicks in and A/C functions as it should ✔️

Can someone tell me if there is an A/C module or is it contained within my climate control panel

Thanks in advance tried to give as much information as i can 👍

Probably needs re gassing.

System gas pressure is low. A/C has been disabled to prevent damage to the compressor.

If i bridge the relay out the a/c works perfectly it had a re gas last year. The compressor dosent engage through the switch on the climate control, the fault is on the switch side all fuses etc are all good

Sorry, but im no expert on air con. Check powers and grounds at the relay on the switched side and that should tell you if its a command problem.

That doesn't mean you haven't got a leak

Battery voltage at the relay on the high current side. Nothing through the switch side all fuses are good if i bridge the high current side with the relay out my air con works as it should ❄️

Ok, therefore the switched side is the problem. Have you access to a scanner ? you can force the aircon to switch on using the test function in the scanner. Get someone with one to do the test for you.
