Fan running after engine stopped.

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 2015 Fiesta Eco Boost. Had it for about a year with no issues, but recently have noticed that the fan keeps running for quite a while after engine is switched off. This happens in bot hot weather and cold, short trips or a longer time. There hasn't been anything light up to say that the engine is running hot. Is this a normal thing for the fan to keep running like this? Thanks for any advice/input.

quite normal, can be from useing air-con etc, nothing to worry about.

Unless you are not using A/C all the time and have a cooling issue.

Is the coolant level good?

Is the temp gauge remaining in the middle?

You may need to check that the thermostat is operating correctly
