Took me a while to open the stupid thing by putting it in the actual lock. My other key works fine so is this just a battery thing ? Ford want to take it in and have a good look but im worried they will try and charge me for vastly over the odds for labour Thanks for the advice. Could be the battery, your need one of these My link Not 100% sure on this but i'm sure that the center console information screen tells you when your remote battery is running low on power. Thanks for the link, what comforts me is that the other key works perfectly so I know that the system itself is running fine. It appears that only Fiesta's that are keyless entry will get the message on there centre console that the battery is running low.
