having problems with engine reving 2 high ! found breather pipe from breather/filler cap 2 b very clogged up with oil/carbon deposits ! also noticed bottom of air filter box 2 b very oilly. have been told thottle valve sticks on the fiesta endura models ? dont want 2 start buying new parts untill looked at all possible things 2 check out . any body had same problems n found permanent solution ? please let me know your answers please.

Does it rev too high when the clutch is disengaged? If so your looking at idle control valve. Try cleaning it with abit of WD40 failing that get a used 1 from a scrappy

could also be throttle position sensor, have you tried scanning it to see if their are any codes stored?
