Ford Focus MK4 Head Up Display lock, faliture

Featured Replies

Hi😁

I have a problem with the head up display in my Focus MK4. The display works but I can't turn it off/hide it. It freezes at the end of closing. The cover doesn't close either. If we turn the car off, the display closes only to a certain point as in the picture. After starting it, it goes up/hides/goes up and works normally. Has anyone had a similar problem? I'm attaching a picture.

I tried to improve the mounting of the glass on the sliders but it did not help.

I'm adding a video. This is what the screen does when you turn off the car.

This looks like an expensive repair !! 🙁

From the photo it looks like something has broken off the pivot/hinge. I expect this is going to be a Ford main dealer repair.
