Electric wing mirror on 2016 Focus

The internal mechanism of the electric mirror on my Focus III (Titanium) is broken. I can move the mirror glass with the door control, but the mirror does not fold in when the car is locked. It seems that the arm or whatever moves the mirror is broken.

Will I have to replace the whole mirror assembly, including the colour-matched mirror housing, or is it possible (easy?) to replace all the inner workings and retain the cover?

And how difficult is it to do whatever repair needs to be done?

    I'm not familiar with the Ford Model: Husain, but if it is similar to a Ford Focus then you can replace the whole of the door mirror and just transfer over the painted cover.

    There are many versions of the door mirror for your model. If you are buying a used one form the likes of eBay be careful to get the correct one.

    Only buy a used genuine Ford door mirror. Do not buy a 'copy' or 'aftermarket' part, otherwise you will not be able to swap the painted cover.

    You need a mirror with the "Power Fold" option and also with the "Heated Mirror"  Most door mirrors do not have the power fold option.
