Focus Mk3 Rear pads

Featured Replies

Hi,

As limited of resources of the research online as there no information what I am looking for, as I put my Focus reg on Euro Car Parts that I am looked for pricing cost total of discs and pads all around, only one problem that I found was rear pads came up two as no information fitment different but only different was brake wear sensor fitted (Cheap one got brake wear sensor whist expensive don’t have one), that only puzzled for me.

Fords don't usually have wiring for wear sensors.

Pads with sensors still fit as long as they're the same dimensions, but you have to cut the wires off or tuck them out of the way.

Ah, I’m going cheap route one then, I can rip wire out no problem.

Do you had recommend brake brand?
I used be had Pagid brake at front at my old Fiesta and it’s served me well as no issues but obviously that was like 5 years ago as price is different. I thinking going medium budget route which is I find on euro car parts are Brembo all around.

Do you think I should purchase brake pad accessories fitting kit at sametime since my focus is 110k miles.

I prefer Pagid as well, but haven't bought for a while.  There are cheaper places than EuroCarParts now, unless they've got a really good discount code on.

I've had multiple problems with ECP Brembos so won't buy those again.  Other people swear by them though, so it's your choice.

I wouldn't bother with a fitting kit on these if it's just the springs.

Looks like the Pagid pads are cheaper on Halfords website.  (They buy them from ECP!!)

Will do as looking varies car parts site.

I just remember you meant to Brembo issue, as from former my work colleague as he got problem squeaking sound from brake pad that he just fitted new Brembo pads, and that was his VW Passat 2014
