Hi Gang, I have a 2008 Fusion+ that has the click of death from the both electric folding door mirrors when they try to fold. I'm guessing this is a common problem because It had the same issue when i brought it second hand about 6 years ago. At the time I had both mirrors replaced with after market alternatives which have worked well for many years. Unfortunately now the new ones are doing the same and replacements are getting expensive and harder to find. At the moment I simply pulled the fuse for the door mirror which stops the clicking but also stops adjustments. What is the best way to disable the electric folding but keep adjustment. I could cut the offending leads in each door mirror but I also seem to remember there is a special relay that controls the folding door mirrors on door on some models. Any help would be great. You could try this....
