2013 focus bolt on front crossmember

Featured Replies

2013 Focus Zetec S 1.6 D Hi I would like to change my front lower bolt on crossmember, I am wondering if the bolts are a one time fit ( Stretch type bolts ) Or can I reuse. Ideally Id like some new ones incase the are damaged or badly corroded . Has anyone removed this crossmember for anyone reason, can anyone advise P/N for new bolts / nuts. Attached is a pic of the replacement crossmember. IMG_5403.thumb.jpeg.fce941012e3885afa6a2b825eabe67f5.jpegAny advice would be great

Thanks

These bolts appear to be reusable, unless you can find any torque settings for them that suggest otherwise.

There are two different types of bolt for this part.  And both changed around January 2013.

Thanks very much that’s very helpful, I’ll order some spare bolts just incase I have any issues.

Hi All. I'm looking at replacing this as well. Is it a big job? Cheers

Sorry for the late reply. Yeah straight forward enough. I jacked mine high up on two stands to give more clearance. Quite a few bolts and nuts to remove. Cleaned the area and refit
