Couple Of Little Bits Up With My Mk4 Fiesta...

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

So I've just decided to fix a few little bits on the fiesta that are getting annoying lol.

Firstly I can't open the boot. I put the key in to unlock it but it will not turn! Argh! And I don't believe the mk4 has a boot release? I've not noticed any anyway...

Then I can't lock the car from the drivers side. I can unlock, but not lock. Have to walk round the passenger side to lock her up!

The drivers window (wind up, not elec) keeps sliding down and won't roll up/down. So I'm assuming it's managed to come off it's track.

And that's it. Feels like there's sumet else but I can't remember.

Are any of these things DIY? I'm not that much of a car tech but learning is always fun to do if it doesn't end up in a bigger mess... If not, what do you reckon a garage would charge to fix these?

Thanks!
