Just signed ownership of a Focus diesel 1.5 Zetec and discovered it has a wet belt. When do these need changing? Its only done 38.000 miles but it is 10 years old. SHould it have been done before I bought it?

    This engine does not have a wetbelt.

    It has a conventional dry belt.  You should still be looking to replace it before 10 years old, but it's a much cheaper job.
