Hi all,

I was inspecting under my car after a small crash (idiot pulled out a junction without looking and went into back of me) and I've noticed what looks like a sliced off hose of some sort? Anyone know what this is? 

Picture is under the driver side rear bumper.

I have circled the issue

    That's a vent hose for the petrol tank.  It's meant to look like that.
