Ford Focus MK3 Dashboard Guage Flickering

Featured Replies

Hi all, recently bought a MK3 2016 Ford focus Titanium X.
However recently it’s started playing up as it’s very intermittent with starting. I think it’s a dead battery but when it’s not turning over, the dashboard guages start flickering. I also get this message come up on the screen. (See picture)

Does anyone have any ideas as to what it is?

Definitely looks like a battery related issue I’d say

The vehicles battery is flat.

How old is the battery ?

If 4 years or more then it's time for a new one. Otherwise connect up a smart battery charger and leave it on charge for a MINIMUM of 12 hours.

Yeah it was a bad cell. Two cells had warped together which lost capacitance hence why it wasn’t starting. All good now, thanks is for your help
