MK7 2009 Fiesta UK Zetec Horn not Working

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Wondering if you can help? Horn stopped all of a sudden.

▪︎ I changed the fuse even though the one tested good

• When pressing the Horn the relay isn't clicking (unless I'm deaf) 🤔  like to think the click would be quite noticeable, had my ear right down and nothing.

Hoping it's not the clockspring / wiring to the relay

Question, which relay is the one for the Horn in the attached picture?  I would like to switch them with a same type and retest.

Any guidance is much appreciated

Thanks

It'll be the horn itself

Very cheap on ebay ..a 1 pole or 2 will be fine

Search this number on ebay

394159871409

But you get wat you pay for..buying a better quality one maybe better.

What if there is no clicking sound on the relay after pushing the Horn on the steering wheel?

Just check the horn first with a known working one, it'll be the horn itself, it always is

Took it off, looked it up to battery booster and I heard the it trying to make a noise but failed, lots of water and muck inside. Terminals are at 400 ohms resistance. Ordered a 2nd hand exact match on the bay for 15 quid
