FAP/DPF Additive Fluid

Featured Replies

Hi all. Does anyone know how long Eolys or DPF Additive fluid last. My mechanic said we topped the fluid 1liter. I've seen somewhere some people says about 1 liter lasts about 10k miles.. On my dashboard message appeared Engine Systems Fault maybe FAP Tank needs refilling. Anyone help?

Eolys should last a lot longer than 10k per litre.  Recommended top up interval was 37,500 miles.  The tank is around 1.8 litres and is obviously expected to easily last that interval between top ups.

You need a Ford specific reader to see why that warning message has come up.  It won't be picked by normal garage scanners.  We recommend Forscan on here.
