I'm out for the morning now and can't work it out on my small phone screen but it looks like the MAP Sensor, the one you want is on the Turbo side of the Throttle Body.

I'm sure someone else will be able to see it better than me and help you out.

There is this one which is on the charge pipe, which has the same part number as the one on the manifold. When you google the part number it says boost pressure sensor.

I still can't make it out on my phone but it may well have the same part number because it is measuring the same thing but in a different place.

Some cars have a Temperature Sensor incorporated in them as well though, some don't.

That does look like the correct Sensor.

More importantly did the Check Engine Light come on during your run and was the Actual Boost Pressure the same as the Desired except for a few seconds catch up and did the Voltage stay within the parameters?

Hello,
No, the engine light didn't come on. Yes, and yes on the boost and voltage.

The engine light is intermittent. That was the first time I managed to catch the EML, as normally my wife drives the car. She just switches the engine on and off to clear the issue. I read it with FORScan the same day, but the codes were never stored.

It could be weeks or months before it happens again.

To me it feels like it rough idles especially on cold start up, thought this maybe the problem.

The Boost Pressure readings should work with just the Ignition on, so you could try wiggling the Wiring to it while looking at the Voltage with FORScan to see if it drops out. The trouble with Wiring Faults is that they often break somewhere along the Loom, usually at a sharp change in direction or where it is clipped.

I think your Data run rules out the Vacuum Pump Valve, if the Diaphragm  was holed I don't think you would have got a clear Data Run and only an intermittent fault.

Thanks for all your help. I will inspect the sensor, maybe even give it a clean and check the wiring to see if there's a voltage problem. Thanks!
