Ooops sorry, manual windows rear

How far have you got?

One or both of these grey foam circles will need to be removed to give you access to the window clip.  Wind down the window until the clip appears in the hole behind the foam.  Then release the clip(s) and pull the window up.

Thanks Tom, so does the window then come out from the bottom of the door?

Does that give the window mechanism enough clearance with the glass held up at the top?

Thanks very much

If you're only changing the regulator, then there's no need to remove the glass.  Just tape it to the top of the door, then lower the winder back down, and that gives enough clearance to remove the regulator.

If you do need to remove the glass, then it comes out of the top.  You need to pull out the rubber guides while the window is down to do that.

Thanks very much Tom, I actually want to get into the door catch as I have a intermittent warning light in the dash saying rear left door not closed when it is.

I have sprayed loads of electrical cleaner where I can which appears to help for a short period of time then it's back again.

Any help with that would be appreciated thanks.

There are small microswitches inside the catch/latch that wear out quite often.  I would usually fit a good used replacement from a breakers yard.
