Ford Focus MK4 2024.5 wipers knocking

Featured Replies

Hi, I have just taken delivery of a new ST-Line Focus , today it rained and I had to use the wipers, and I noticed they are hitting the A pillar trim on the driver side.

This wiper setup is a single motor linkage system I believe?   So I don't think there is any calibration like on my old MK3 ?

I also don't think there is any point it moving the drivers arm position as the drivers side wiper parks close to the wiper panel.

Anyone had such an issue with the MK4 Focus.

I would book it in at Ford as that doesn’t sound right.

ive had Mk 4 and 2x Mk4.5 and never had and issue with wipers

not heard of the issue as well.

Yep, book it in and get them to fix it

Finally sorted, it was the wiper blades, they were gripping the windscreen too much and juddering then and at the end of the travel they released  just hitting the A pillar, new blades sorted it.
