Hi all, I won't beat around the bush, I know virtually nothing to do with cars and have recently had various warnings from the car about the battery so now I'd like to replace it. What would you guys recommend? Ford recommends one that costs more than 300 and I can't afford that!

    Most on the forum would recommend Yuasa.

    The Yuasa YBX7096 would be the best for your car as it far more powerful than the original factory fitted. If you check various online sites and enter your registration it will say that it won't fit your car. It WILL FIT, it is the battery that is used on the ST and the diesel Focus.

    Two things you need to do.

    1. Before fitting the new battery, put it on charge for a full 12 hours.
    2. After fitting the new battery remember to reset the BMS
