MK2.5 1.8 QQDB catalytic heat shield bolt size?

Featured Replies

My catalytic heat shield at the exhaust manifold is rattling because it has rusted away around the two bolts holding it down. I will use some M6 25mm OD washers to keep it bolted down.

My problem is that the bolts were heavily corroded and rounded, but I got them out using a bolt extractor socket. So now I need new bolts, but I have no idea what bolts I need. I can find a part number for the head shield: "5M519N454CA". However, I can't find any part number for the bolts or any information on their size.

I don't suppose anyone here knows what bolts I need, or can point me in the right direction to someone who will know?

Thanks
